MORRISON HOPES FOR LEGENDARY DAY AT HAMILTON

15:25 Hamilton This class 3 handicap race is probably the highlight of today's meeting at Hamilton and you could make a case for a number of these runners on previous historical form. Platinumcard was very impressive last time out at Ayr but has gone up in the weights for that win making him top weight in this handicap race. Although jockey Billy Garrity takes a handy 3 pounds of the weight. His 2 handicap wins have come in small field races so he may not have it all his own way today. Rich Dream is a very lightly raced 3-year-old only making his 4th start today however was last seen in April so will maybe need the run more than likely today but is well handicapped you could argue so would be maybe dangerous to completely dismiss. Bringitonboris looks a lively each way outsider if the wind op does the trick for him although has not really showed much this season in his 6 runs. My selection today though has to be Legendary Day. Hughie Morrison horses are operating at a strike rate of 50%! 7 of his last 14 runners have won. Legendary Day is a stone better off at the weights compared to 2nd favourite Platinumcard. Legendary Day Newmarket run last time out where he finished 3rd wasn't a bad performance at all. and with the ground at the moment good to soft I think these conditions will suit him with his best form seems to be on good to soft. Daniel Tudhope is in reasonable form operating at a 18% strike rate as well. You could argue this race for Legendary day looks slightly easier than the one he raced in last time out.
