MOORE TO MAKE IT A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER

King Triton is an interesting newcomer here related to several useful winners and is a Derby entry. Trained by Roger Varian This Invincible Spirit colt can go well on debut. Horses with experience are headed by Red Flyer and Laos who were 3rdand 4th here at the beginning of February. Laos was well supported that day and was hampered in the home straight and can reverse the placings with Red Flyer here, The winner that day was Echo Point trained by Charlie Appleby who runs the unraced Knight Town and as such should have a handle on the form. Appleby has been in excellent form on the All-Weather this winter and has a 40% strike rate at Kempton over the last 5 years. Knight Town was purchased for £320,000 as a yearling as is closely related to Group winners. He is ridden by Ryan Moore who only has 2 rides on the card. When riding for Appleby on the All-Weather Moore has a 67% strike rate. Horses with experience do not look anything special and this race can go to a newcomer and I fancy the Godolphin runner Knight Town to edge Varians King Triton.
