MONDAY RACING TIPS

14:50 Fakenham

Tiny Tantrum almost broke his duck over course and distance last time out and he will probably start as favourite here. He pulled well clear of the third that day and it’s possible that the winner could be a marked improver.

Midnight Mary scored at Doncaster last month but somewhat disappointed at Warwick a few weeks later. The mare will need a career best to take this contest to prove that she’s up to winning off this mark.

Kilbrew Boy has been running well over fences without really troubling the winners enclosure lately and it has been over a year now since he last tasted success. He would remain a danger off this mark though.

I’m siding with Tiny Tantrum to follow up his great run last time out with a win here today.

Breizh Alko will likely start favourite for this event and is a very lightly raced 11yo having just his second start for Martin Keighley. He ran with respect at Lingfield last month but is a risky option at such short odds having only his second run since March 2019.

The Wire Flyer is back on a winning mark having been successful at Ffos Las back in February last year. That was on heavy ground under Isobel Williams but he doesn’t have a great strike rate so it’s best to look elsewhere for win purposes.

Adventura is an unexposed horse from the powerful Philip Hobbs team. He certainly didn’t set the word alight in his three novice runs at Exeter but it’s certainly possible that the change of track combined with him going up in trip could see him take advantage of his very low opening mark to take this event.
