MONDAY RACING TIPS

17:05 Windsor

The opener from Windsor sees many of these looking to break their maiden tags. One such contender is Romantic Memories who posted an improved effort at Salisbury last time out but was still relatively well held in that contest. She does have possibilities however as the winner of that race has followed up again and she should go close here with a repeat of that effort.

Soi Dao is another filly that is looking for her first win having been second last time out at Bath. That was only a four runner race though and it’s unclear how good that form compares to her rivals here and I’m tempted to look elsewhere for win purposes today.

My idea of the winner here comes in the form of Woodlands Charm. She has found the winners enclosure three times already in her short career and may have found the ground a bit too testing last time out when favourite to defy a career high mark. She has that same mark to cope with today, but in better ground she is very appealing and the one to beat today.

WOODLANDS CHARM (WIN)

21:00 Wolverhampton

The final race of the day at Wolverhampton features a few course specialists and is a very interesting race on paper.

Street Poet has won ten times here at Wolverhampton and has defied much higher marks than the one he competes from today. He should give his running once more but holds no secrets from anyone on his eighty-first start today.

Odd Socks Havana also has good course form although his mark may be getting a little on the high side here and though Rebecca Menzies does very well with her all-weather runners he is passed over for win purposes in this contest.

Mr Fustic won over course and distance last time out bust has been heavily penalised for that success and he will not offer much value today and is not guaranteed to hold his form against more proven rivals here.

My pick for this race is Calonne who has finished in the first pair on his last three visits to Dunstall Park. Hollie Doyle is the best person to be on board for this ride and I can see him coming with a late run to pick his rivals off here, considering there should be a good pace here and I am picking him to claim the prize.
