Honestlyntrufully is the only runner here to have scored over obstacles and he will be very popular today, as he has the tongue-tie and blinkers for the first time to try and spark some improvement. It was a very disappointing effort last time though and I’m tempted to look elsewhere for win purposes here.
Stumps And Slips was favourite for a similar contest up at Uttoxeter last time out and could well go off favourite again today - partnered again by James Jeavons who claims a useful 7lbs. He has every chance here provided the race doesn’t come a bit soon for him however he has been raised another 2lbs in the weights.
The vote here goes to the strong traveller, Henry Box Brown. The Evan Williams gelding has shown a lot of promise in his four hurdle starts to date and he should be defying his handicap mark very soon. He’s my tip to win here today.

Glorious Charmer will possibly come into this race as a warm favourite, having won at Wolverhampton last month and then backing that effort up four days ago with a close second. Both of those efforts were over six furlongs though and the drop back in trip is not a positive move in my opinion and I think he’s worth taking on.
Hot Hot Hot has been running fairly consistently since returning from her break and she has been knocking on the door in these class six contests with her low weights. She is a former course and distance winner off a higher mark and so she has every claim to get involved, however, I would have liked to have seen her drawn better for this event.
Amazing Amaya is another former course and distance winner who has finished second on her last three starts over this track and trip. She has edged down another 1lb in the weights as well and is drawn to attack with her customary strong finish and I think represents great value at the current odds. She is my pick each-way, to land the spoils here.
