The Lamplighter put in an eye-catching run when a close up third over course and distance earlier in the month, finishing very strongly having been caught a little far back and wider than ideal coming around the bend. He was gaining with every stride so looks to hold an excellent chance now drawn in stall 2 and having been nudged up just 1lbs.

It has been a while since El Hombre visited the winners enclosure but as a result is some 10lbs below his last winning mark and has a solid record over track and trip so looks to be the main danger, while Wudashudacuda posted his sole career success here at Wolves and could improve for the switch in stables so should be monitored for any market support.
