Mujtaba was an impressive winner on soft ground at Chepstow in August and followed up with another commanding success when racing under a penalty at Chester the following month. He is up against slightly better opposition on handicap debut but there looks to be plenty more to come from the William Haggas’ runner so he gets the nod to keep his unbeaten record intact.
Super Den is yet to taste victory but has put in a couple of solid runs when placed over this trip on soft ground so shouldn’t be too far away having dropped a further 1lbs since last run, while Empirestateofmind arrives here in excellent form having posted three wins and two seconds from five since returning to turf but has to cope with a 5lbs rise for victory last time out.

Barring one run at Goodwood last October, Tawny Port has spent the last two years being campaigned on the all-weather. He is an interesting runner now returning to turf off a tempting mark some 14lbs lower than his last AW victory, however usually needs his first run on return from a break.
Ey Up Its Maggie has been holding her form well enough, posting another solid placed effort at Pontefract when last seen, however her consistency has meant little respite from the handicapper and this is a step back up in class.
Four Adaay was a decent second over course and distance last time out, a couple of lengths clear of the re-opposing Ishvara, so racing off the same mark and with conditions to suit she looks to have a great chance of going one better today.
