MO PROBLEM IN YORK STAKES

15:15 York

You’d presume a return to Group 2 company is going to be a positive step for the Ballydoyle resident Armory and it’s safe to say the four year old is sure to go well here. However up against this younger opponent, who also claims an age for weight allowance, he’s going to have to put in a performance close to his very best.

Mohaafeth comes here off the back of an unbeaten four race season which started in a novice contest back in March and culminated in a Group 3 victory at Royal Ascot last time. It’s a question of whether or not the three year old has enough in the locker to take another step up or the trusted O’Brien runner can claim another group race success.

Armory is a top quality animal but does have dips of inconsistency where as Mohaafeth seems to be progressing with each run. Sure to be a close run thing but I’m coming down on Haggas’ youngster to keep up the winning streak.
