MIN THE MERCILESS

14:30 - Ryanair Chase

The Ryanair looks a little more competitive this year than it did last year. Min comes back for more and will look to retain his crown. Not much in the market at the time of writing between Min and Allaho. Won at Thurles last time out but I wasn't to convinced by that win they were strung out very early on and 2nd that day Elimay she had so much ground to make up that day and wasn't too far away.

Melon in this race what can I say always the bridesmaid never the bride will no doubt place in this race have finished 2nd at the festival 4 times in a row. Imperial Aura fell last time out which isn't like him to usually a solid jumper. if you can forgive that run will have a great each way shout. Mister Fisher will have his ground and this horse seems very ground dependant.

My selection would be Min in this race to defend his crown. I'm not too worried about his last run 2 mile isn't his trip anymore I don't think. Had Min finished 2nd behind Chacun Pour Soi that day he would have been a shorter price than he is. If you look over his record when he has had setbacks last 4 times where he hasn't won a race he goes on and wins next time out. Obviously, Mullins knows how to get him to bounce back and I'm confident this is the case at the Ryanair where hopefully he can win the Ryanair back-to-back.

For each way play I think Samcro could run a huge race. Denise Foster has had a couple of winners already this week so the yard seems to be almost business as usual despite recent incidents. Samcro hasn't had the best prep this season. But has won the last two times he has been at the Festival and I don't doubt he will run a huge race. where Cheltenham seems to bring the best out of him. I just think he offers some value compared to the rest of the field.
