Masters Legacy travelled nicely last time out after a break of 413 days. It was deep ground and he's just tired under conditions when the others have kicked for home. It was a very promising comeback run. His last race before that break he beat a horse called Polish comfortably giving him 6lbs as well. Polish is now rated 137 after winning a hot handicap on Betfair Hurdle day here at Newbury.

Scaramanga carries top weight here which puts me off considering it's a classy field albeit many have questions to answer.

Such as Garry Clermont coming back over hurdles after disappointing over fences.

Sebastopol is another that hasn't hit form this season after winning the Scottish County Hurdle last season.

After a promising comeback run Masters Legacy doesn't really have a question to answer unlike his rivals and should continue his progression here.
