LOOK OUT FOR A HAZZARD IN THIS GROUP 2

This looks a decent renewal of this one mile, Group 2 contest and it’s difficult to put a line through many of these.

Century Dream is a solid Group 2 horse and looks sure to run his race with conditions in his favour. Arguably his best runs are when dominating small fields, dictating from the front, but that may not be a given here.

Top Rank is five but still looks to be improving. He finished behind Century Dream last time at Windsor, but this track will suit better and he should turn the form around with that rival.

Tilsit will likely be favourite and one can see why. He’s a big individual, and connections have bided their time. Maybe he’s best on fast ground though so wouldn’t want to many showers.

A chance is taken on Duke Of Hazzard to run a big race at a decent price. He really turned a corner with the application of blinkers and soon achieved a rating of 115. He has been slightly inconsistent of late, but there’s no doubt that a lot of his recent races haven’t been run to suit. In a larger field, with a decent pace to aim at its not impossible to see this horse run into a place or maybe better if he’s on a going day.
