16:30 Salisbury
A mile and half handicap for four year olds and over at beautiful Salisbury is the focus today.
Harlow is interesting purely on the basis that the Ian Williams yard is in great form. But closer inspection of his form would suggest he has a bit to prove, particularly after his latest start over hurdles, where he bolted with Robbie Dunne and was ultimately beaten by multiple lengths.
Hawridge Flyer is handicapped to go well today. Some of his form reads well in the context of this race, and he’s lower than his last winning mark. Having said that, he is an infrequent winner and is therefore overlooked.
The selection is King’s Castle. Not many miles on the clock, and with plenty of stamina in his pedigree, this stiff test should be ideal for him.
There could be plenty more to come from this horse and despite running creditably he has slipped in the weights a little, which can only be to his advantage.
He is a confident selection to succeed in this very winnable contest.
