This British EBF Conditions Stakes features just 3 runners over 7 furlongs where the going is currently Good to Firm (Good in places).

Al Suhail leads the market, although he can put in a bad run from time to time. His form this season has not been great having had a couple of 3rds in 4 races and not much more to write about. I don't think this form justifies favouritism, however he is rated 110, so is 3lbs superior in ratings to Accidental Agent, and will be carrying 4lbs less. This may be the reason for his market position.

Azano has been a consistent horse, although winless since 2019. A plethora of 2nds shows that he always runs his race. He switched yards this season to David O'Meara and maybe this is where he'll get his first win since 2019?

Accidental Agent comes in at top weight, conceeding 4lbs to the 2 rivals although I think conditions will suit here. He likes the quick ground, although would probably have this race over 1 mile than 7 furlongs.

I think the pace of the race is interesting. Azano likes to lead, Al Suhail likes to sit in just behind and Accidental Agent likes to come from off the pace. So I can see them going off in that order. I always like a horse that comes from off the pace and that's why my selection is the outsider of the 3, Accidental Agent.
