Palace Pier heads the market at 8/13. Gosden & Dettori partner up on the near perfect career of Palace Pier, who has 6 wins from 7 races. I have no doubt that Palace Pier should be winning this race, however I'll be playing this race on an each-way angle.

With 4 places available on Paddy Power, there are some interesting angles to take here.

I believe that the pace will frenetic and I have two selections that like to run from the back of the pack and these two could be picking up the pieces and run themselves into a place.

The ever reliable, beautifully grey Lord Glitters is a repeated Group 1 feature and at 40/1, hes coming off the back of a successful winter out in Dubai. There are no stamina doubts as he runs between 1 mile and 1 miles 2 furlongs regularly. This is his second Lockinge stakes, but his running last time was not his true self. They have changed the tactics on him since and I believe they will suit this race.

Bless Him is a horse who has been exceeding expectations in his last few runs in the big races. He was 8 lengths behind Palace Pier last time out in the Group 2 Bet365 Mile Stakes just 3 weeks ago where he stayed on well from the back to finished second. Currently he's 100/1 with 3 places and 80/1 with 4 places.
