FRIDAY RACING TIPS

16:13 Haydock

a pretty uncompetitive 5 runner race with the front 2 in the market looking like the competitors in this race.

The best of the rest Berwick Law looks like her sights will be a lower handicap racing. Double March came 3rd on debut at Southwell and is upped in trip which may potentially suit plus will have hopefully learned from that experience. Newcomer Muntasira has a nice pedigree look about her but will probably need / learn from the experience of this race.

Mark Johnston horse Miss Dynamic won last time out at Doncaster and the penny seemed to have drop with her winning well after a bold front running tactic. I imagine this will be the same tactic used this time out and it will just be the case of whether she can be pegged back.

My selection though is Leitzel. Yes she is not going to get you rich if she wins. But she was impressive last time out at Haydock and obviously has a liking to the course and to be honest looked as if she won with a bit in hand. Miss Dynamic is 3 pounds higher in the weights than Leitzel which helps Leitzel.

You would like to think she will of improved for that race as well all the signs repeat of a follow up win

LEITZEL (WIN)

16:48 Haydock

Soller Bay has been uncompetitive in her last 5 runs so hard to see her getting involved. Independent is now 4 pounds lower than when 4th in a course and distance race a few runs back so could be an outside each way play.

Eternal Glory seems to pull to hard frequently which makes her difficult to trust. Rose Fandango is a consistent sort recently and you would think maybe would place. Trois Vallees ran a credible 4th after a long lay off but is one of the top weights here and maybe needs to come down a few pounds to be competitive once more but not necessarily dismissed.

Market Favourite Emily Post is top weight here and I think would need to be on top of her game to win here I just feel she may be caught out by a better handicapped horse.

This is where my selection comes in Spear Fir upped in trip to 7 furlongs today at Haydock and was 2nd last time on handicap debut at Thirsk which put her into the calculations here in my opinion. She has come 2nd in her last two races and I believe its only a matter of time before she puts her head in front. This looks the ideal opportunity
