FRIDAY RACING TIPS

15:00 Thirsk

Just the 3 runners here but I would definitely be taking on the favourite here Symbolize. Although the ground is good to soft at the moment its a going to dry quickly and the ground will only get faster. Symbolize doesn't seem to enjoy the quicker ground and results and races has been in recently would suggest that.

Perotto has been racing in Listed and group company this season. But hasn't really been competitive in them and this is clearly an easier given its a 3-runner race. has won over this distance which gives Perotto hope but id be surprised if he wins

My selection though is Finest Sound connections have gone with the headgear for the first time in hoping that it will help Finest Sound settle he can run a little keenly and this will have a desired effect. Finest Sound was third behind Grocer Jack last time out in Newbury and Grocer Jack looks a really nice horse in the making. There isn't a Grocer Jack In this race so Finest Sound must have a solid chance

FINEST SOUND (WIN)

19:10 Newmarket

Not the best card at Newmarket small fields and all. Achnamara has a huge weight pull from all his rivals here and that has to automatically put him into contention here. Had excuses previous races before and wasn't far away at Doncaster last time out.

Priano is fitted with blinkers this time out so be interesting to see if this gets any more improvement out of him. Hasn't really shown much form since being gelded end of last year so you can see why he is the outsider of this race.

Giavellotto goes into this race as the favourite and you can see why rarely running a bad race this season and has a progressive profile you like to see from a 3-year-old was a close 2nd last time out at Haydock and he will be in contention and will probably get shorter price as the day goes on.

I am taking a chance with my selection and this is the Gosden's horse Law Of The Sea. At a bigger price compared to the front two of the market Law Of The Sea i feel is of better value is top weight here but conditional Benoit De La Sayette takes a handy 3 pounds off. Who also is back on board having won on Law Of The Sea twice.

This will only be his 7th run so for a 4 year old he is lightly raced. Although disappointing at Doncaster in March and hasnt been seen since Law Of The Sea holds an entry into the Ebor so connections must think highly of him and think there is more to come. Again doesnt look the strongest of races so Law Of The Sea for value i think may cause a surprise here.

LAW OF THE SEA (WIN)
