FRIDAY RACING TIPS

19:05 Stratford

Lots of Horses in this race are trained by professional trainers even though it's an amateur card at Stratford tonight which makes it an interesting race.

West Approach isn't once what he was and surely is more about gaining rules experience for Freddie Gingell. Le Breuil you never know what your going to get with him and has his own ideas of racing.

Bob And Co hasn't been seen since his fall at Cheltenham which happened early on in the race. Popular David Maxwell as he is I'm sure punters will get stuck in. Dandy Dan won last time out at Cheltenham Hunter meeting in April and looks an Each Way play in my mind similar conditions and trip he gets today.

Not That Fuisse is on a roll with 3 wins on the bounce, beating Law Of Gold at Fakenham last time out will surely be in contention.

However, the safest option for the win I believe is Vaucelet. Vaucelet was desperately unlucky at the Cheltenham Festival Foxhunters race being pipped on the line by Billaway. Billaway went on and won at Punchestown Festival in April / May and that line of form looks the strongest. Vaucelet won't have the steep Cheltenham hill to contend with at the end and can gain compensation in today's race. Vaucelet has won at this event last year as well so has the course and distance form as well

VAUCELET (WIN) 20:00 Pontefract

A small but potential tactical affair may appear in this handicap race at Pontefract.

Favourite at time of writing Lawmans Blis comes back slightly in trip after running slightly further last time out and has won at this distance before the previous race he won in his season reappearance. Lawmans Blis is top weight in this and he may find it tricky contesting the lead with his rival Spantik.

Spantik likes to get on with things as well although he has raced a lot further in recent times at longer trips. so, I'm not sure whether he will stay this trip to be honest when his better form is further. One win in 14 races under rules looks a patchy profile.

Sociologist will need to find a lot more to bother his rivals today I imagine and trainer Scott Dixon only tends to usually find winners on the all-weather track.

This to me points to Myboymax as my selection. He has been running well recently and has had quite a few 2nd and 3rd in his races. Conditional Aiden Brookes takes a handy 7 pounds of Myboymax and this could prove crucial. If the front two get into a battle up front this could be Myboymax ideal opportunity to get his head in front.
