FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

16:25 Newcastle

Of course many horses change hands and change trainers but it’s interesting to see the journey and change of stables that seven year old PADDYPLEX has gone through. The horses only successes came under the tutelage of Keith Dalglish before heading to both Karen McLintock and Tristan Davidson however just a couple of months ago rejoined the yard of Keith Dalglish. On stable return he produced a solid third placed effort at Ayr after a 167 day layoff. He’s now 13lbs lower than his last winning mark and should be much better for his recent effort.

Tim Easterby’s six year old VIVE LE DIFFERENCE holds a solid course and distance record when racing in Class 5 company with two victories and a second from just three starts. Weighted to go close and showed a much improved performance to finish fourth in a pretty competitive affair at Ayr last time. Normally stall 9 wouldn’t be helpful to most but he likes to come from behind. A big run is expected back on the artificial surface.
