A race full of rematches with Blakeney Point renewing rivalries with Voix Du Reve who he beat over course and distance on New Years Day. Closely weighted again there shouldn’t be much between the pair this time around however the form of that race doesn’t look as strong as the race won at Kempton by Cadzand, who is well fancied for two big upcoming handicap hurdles. The second and third that day lock horns again this afternoon.
Christopher Wood finished second on that occasion. He is a course and distance winner who shouldn’t be far away but the horse that claimed third on that occasion Torigni is much less exposed and battle hardened. With that competitive run under his belt, and despite the weights not in his favour, he is taken to improve enough to take this.
