FOX TO FLY FOR VARIAN

The favourite, Derab looks solid here as the form with La Barrosa took a step forward at Newmarket last week. Slightly strange Frankie Dettori isn’t booked to ride. However the Roger Varian yard have a nice bunch of 3yo’s this season and FANTASTIC FOX makes plenty of appeal.

By Frankel and a half brother to the very good Dreams of Dreams. Possibly beaten by some nice types on debut on soft ground. A return to a sounder surface and a year older I really like his prospects from an EW angle.

Snow Lantern is also nicely bred from a dam Richard Hannon knows well. He did suggest she may need the run however.
