FAILURE NOT AN OPTION AT CHELMSFORD

16:45 Chelmsford

A competitive if moderate staying handicap.

Soros is a big galloping type who broke his maiden in an ordinary handicap on the now defunct fibresand at Southwell. He lacks any pace but stays all day and if they go hard enough he could feature.

Gauntlet has form that ties in with Soros through a horse called Potenza. So if Soros is competitive then Gauntlet shouldn’t be too far away.

Three year old Adrastus is interest in that this is the geldings first attempt handicapping and his connections. However on what he’s shown so far it’s going to take a huge chunk of improvement to take this, but as we know it can be done.

Too Big To Fail has shown enough in a stop start career to suggest she might be worth chancing here. The is her opportunity to tackle this trip, and with a stamina packed pedigree it could be what she’s been crying out for.
