Krackatoa King drops back down in class and returns to a trip where he has won twice and placed twice from five. His trainer Kerry Lee continues in good form (three winners from six over fences in the last two weeks) and she looks to have a great chance of adding to that tally here.
Rebecca Curtis does well with her runners here so Mystical Knight is worthy of a mention, although he will need to improve on recent runs to get involved, while Big Meadow was a convincing winner last time out and could be a danger if handling the 7lbs rise.
A final mention goes to trainer P Bowen who has won this race for the last two years and runs Alf N Dor who has placed in three of his last five. Another who will need to improve but isn’t dismissed for a trainer who has a good record at the course and in-particular this race.
