EXCLUSIVE TIP (FRIDAY)

13:20 CATTERICK

Some young and promising talent is on display in the third race on the card from Catterick.

Although I’m not often quick to dismiss horses too easily it’d be fair to say that three of the eight runners are the most likely winners and main protagonists.

Both Blairs Cove and Espoir De Teillee have already tasted victory in their careers with the former winning twice already this season. A disappointing fifth placed finish in a five runner race somewhat sullies the Dank Skelton trained horses recent form. A drop back down in distance should help but, although he’s bound to be in the mix, looks open to two likely improvers.

The aforementioned Espoir De Teillee hasn’t stepped foot on a racecourse in over 200 days but talk of the town is that this promising horse is doing very well at home. With Noel Fehily booked for the ride this lightly raced horse seems to have the credentials to go much further than a race of this nature and if fit and ready should take all the beating.

Black Art is yet to shake off his maiden tag but a return to action saw him put in a good effort at Hexham. A step up in trip should be of benefit and looks the most likely to overturn our selection.
