Damiens Dilemma has a decent record when visiting the Scottish Borders track, having made the frame in six from ten including a win and a second over todays' trip. Following a couple of victories at the start of the season he went up in the weights and seemed to struggle a little, a combination of better opposition and a dip in form, however showed that a return to form could be close when third at Newcastle earlier in the month and now drops in to a Class 5 racing off 3lbs lower than when last successful so looks primed for a good run today.
Tour De Pub hasn't really threatened in any of his races to date but showed encouraging signs when fourth at Market Rasen last month and wouldn't need to improve much further to get involved here, while Skyhill arrives here a little out of form but has made the frame in five from six at the course so warrants respect.
