CRITICAL TO REPEAT LAST YEARS SUCCESS

18:40 Wolverhampton

Eldelbar wasn't beaten far in his first two outings of 2021 and went one better with a commanding victory at Wolves yesterday. If he takes his chance it would be no surprise to see another big run from the Geoffrey Harker runner, while Little Red Socks was a course and distance winner on penultimate run and although ran a shade below-par at Newcastle last time out is an interesting runner now returning to Wolves. Let's Go Lucky is another who has winning course and distance form and although this will be her first run in twelve months, and first run for her new trainer, she cannot be discounted now 3lbs below her last winning mark.

All that said, preference is for the David Loughnane runner and course specialist Critical Thinking who won this race last year and arrives here on the back of an excellent second at Kempton last week. He has been nudged up 2lbs for that effort but has winning course and distance form off marks in the 70's so should be capable of taking this race off 69 today.
