CRAZY START EXPECTED TO YORK PROCEEDINGS

The race of interest when looking at the form for this race took place at Windsor in April. Crazyland was a warm favourite that day and duly won in decent fashion. Second at Windsor was Sierra Bonnie and 4th was Fabiosa. Both placed horses at Windsor were very green that day but both showed the advantage of that experience and won next time out. Crazyland knew his job at Windsor but had to deal with the widest draw so can improve again here. His trainer Clive Cox has been flying with his 2YO’s this season and has won this race before.

Bryan Smart is 3 from 4 with his 2YO’s this season including a winner at York this week. He runs Instinction here and like the favourite has won his only start so far. Second that day was Russellinthebushes who ran well when again second at Chester last week. 4th behind Instinction was May Blossom who just like the horses that finished behind Crazyland came out and won next time and reopposes here. Instinction was a bit free and still managed to win, if she settles a little better, she can improve.

Bellarena Lady was ahead of 6th placed Nymphadora at Newmarket when finishing second and she then won her next start however Nymphadora was slowly away that day and runners from her stable tend to improve for a run. She can run a big race here.

Lots of confusing form lines on show here with beaten horses improving and winning impressively. However, I’m going to stick with Crazyland. His yard is going well with 2YOS and his debut performance was the best on offer in this race. He can be expected to improve again and can confirm the form with the beaten horses at Windsor. Nymphadora can take a place.
