COURSE WINNER SET TO POUNCE AT MUSSELBURGH

There looks to be plenty of pace on here, usually I’d look for a hold up horse but I think it pays to be prominent at Musselburgh.

Gweedore will take a lead from the front runners who are likely to be Hayadh, Gometra Ginty and maybe Ugo Gregory. His record round here is very good 5,2,1,1,5,2. Handles soft ground, there’s plenty of rain in the area. Up 2lbs for winning a similar race at Ayr last time but is still below his career high mark. Jason Hart gets the leg up this time and he’s going at 16% SR in the last two weeks. Should go close again.

Ugo Gregory has his ground but took an 8lbs hike in the weights for winning last time.

Gometra Ginty on the other hand probably won’t be suited by soft ground.
