The final race of the Bank Holiday meeting and in truth many of the runners arrive here with a point to prove. Keeper Chris was a never nearer third over course and distance in July, while Decoration Of War has made the frame in seven from eleven over hurdles but is yet to record a victory and steps up markedly in trip in an attempt to break his duck.

Top Billing has failed to complete in all three runs in 2021 but is two from two at Cartmel and is an interesting contender with jockey Brian Hughes returning to partner the Nicky Richards trained runner. He has posted three wins from five on the twelve year old and was last in the saddle for both those aforementioned course victories so a resurgence can't be discounted, although he would ideally prefer to have seen some cut in the ground.

For our selection we turn to Pakie's Dream who admittedly will need to improve on what we have seen so far this season, however the drop back in trip looks a positive move so racing here from 4lbs below his last winning mark and for a trainer and jockey who both tend to do well here at the course I am hoping to see a bold show.
