BUXTED TOO GOOD TO IGNORE

14:50 Sandown

The 2nd best race on Sandown Saturday card in terms of class. Sees a class 2 handicap where a lot of horses in the field looking to get back on the winning trail.

Latest Generation out of Frankel like any horse out of Frankel always takes an interest and has early market favouritism. obviously well-bred and lightly raced and still has plenty of improvement in him. Probably needed the run in April and hasn't been seen since. But you can see why he is a strong contender

King's Knight follows but is top weight here after his previous placed efforts at this class. Trainer and jockey in decent form and the extra distance wouldn't be a negative. Just carrying top weight maybe, the issue.

However, at a bigger price each way I like the look of Buxted Too for Ian Williams yard. put a line through his previous run I reckon the ground was too soft. if you look back at his previous Sandown race in the Esher Cup in April (Class 2 Handicap) he came 2nd at 40/1 On good ground and same distance so will get same conditions and trip today. Obviously won't be that price today (Around 8/1 currently) will hopefully be a lot better performance to bounce back and hopefully be in the frame.
