Good quality handicap at HQ over the Cambridgeshire trip of one mile, one furlong.
Maydanny is interesting. On a couple of occasions last season he looked a horse of real promise, but also showed some inconsistency which is not unusual for his yard.
Forecast punters will be delighted to see Starcat and Mascat running here. Of the two Starcat would have the best chance, but needs to be on his game to feature.
Bell Rock looks sure to run well. He goes well fresh and finished a fine third in last seasons Cambridgeshire. However he is handicapped accordingly.
A chance is taken with Godolphins apparent first string Bright Melody. He comes here on the back of a victory in Meydan. Some form from Dubai needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, but he does have some nice form in Europe.
Interesting that the team have kept him in training, the trip looks ideal and he won’t mind the going. Despite carrying top weight here, he could be a bit classier than these.
