ALEX ALL OUT IN SUMMER HANDICAP

14:30 Goodwood

For a 1m6f race there’s the potential for plenty of pace here, certainly a few of these will probably want to lead. I expect with the heavy rain it'll make this a real stamina test, even more than normal over this trip.

Prince Alex looks the one most likely to enjoy the test best. Unlucky here two starts ago behind Nuits St George’s he gets plenty more weight off that rival today and that opponent won’t get an easy time of it in front today either. Prince Alex then failed on quick ground next time. A strong pace, back in the mud, with a good jockey on this time in the shape of Rossa Ryan I firmly believe he’ll get his head in front again.

I wasn’t sure the rain would suit Aaddeey.

My Frankel should enjoy this new trip but again the ground would be a concern.

Win O’Clock is one that would enjoy the rain if it came but stamina to prove.
