Dubai Station is the likely favourite here and is also the likeliest winner. He has been quite disappointing this year, that is until he was gelded prior to his last run where he put up a much-improved display. Returning after a two month absence he finished an excellent second to the classy Emeraaty Ana despite a tardy start. A Group 3 winner earlier in his career, the form of his last run is the best form on offer here and he can improve for that run.

Danzeno won a nice race at Haydock last month but may need softer ground than he finds here. Motagally is also vying for favouritism. He was a little disappointing last time but had previously run well in a listed race. He would not want further rain and looks a little hard to place. Tarboosh can follow the selection home here, winner of this race three years ago he was only seventh at York last time. That was a warm race and was probably Tarboosh’s best run of the season. He looks about to hit form but may have to settle for second today.
