The last race of the 3-day Aintree festival concludes with a bumper with the max 20 runners going.

Ernest Gray was impressive in a bumper race at Warwick last time out however this is a massive step in class and it may take to back a horse a bit more race experienced but foolish to dismiss.

Henri The Second is 2 from 2 so far for Paul Nicholls winning well at Ascot last time out. 3rd that day Top Dog came out and win next time out beating a fancied horse Rosy Redrum who was near favourite in the bumper race at Aintree on Friday.

Houlanbatordechais I don't think enjoyed the ground in the Cheltenham Bumper and going by the report was hard to steer due to some problems with the bit in his mouth. Expect a better run today.

In terms of places, it looks an open race and I'm sure plenty will be scrapping for places. The one I like though is Willie Mullins trained Rath Gaul Boy. Yes, it's a little boring and possibly predictable. But Willie Mullins horse Ashroe Diamond absolutely hacked up on Friday after showing some good form over in Ireland. Patrick Mullins takes the ride which usually suggests in Bumpers this one is the most fancied out of the 2 runners Willie Mullins has here. Willie wouldn't bring bumper horses over unless he really fancied them to win.

Rath Gaul Boy is unbeaten and his performance last time out at Leopardstown he won with plenty in hand going away at the end. Will likely to have improved for that run and if he turns up in same form can't see why he will not be in contention. Willie Mullins doesn't bring bumper horses for a jolly and certainly likes to win these bumper races at the big festivals.
